Earth is the third planet from the sun. This is the only place in the universe where life lies (yet). Do you want to know why? Because it lies in the Goldilocks zone. You likely would have heard the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Yeah, the Goldilocks zone or the habitable zone has just normal temperatures, not as close to the sun as mercury, not as far as neptune, in the middle, making life possible. There are a lot of other factors too, like oxygen, which we need to breathe. Earth, as you all know has a day of 23 hrs and 56 minutes. One year here = 365.2422 days. Earth has an iron core and is composed of layers. The Inner and Outer Core in the very center, and the Mantle and the Crust on the Outside. The atmosphere consists of 78% Nitrogen, 21% Oxygen and 1% Carbon Dioxide, Helium, etc.. It also consists of water vapour. Earth is at a distance of 148.71 million kilometers from the sun.
